Kinda funny how all the people slaggin' this game off did so in 2006... When it was released 9 years before that.

User Rating: 9 | Dragon Ball Final Bout PS
(I'm going for this by the era, and I owned it as a child)
Gameplay: 8/10
Storyline: 6/10
Replayability:10/10
Graphics: 7/10
Learning Curve: About 2 or 3 days of consistent playing

Pros:

- Delves right into the core of Dragonball GT, with many cool characters such as Super Saiyan 4 Goku
- The soundtrack couldn't be more perfect if you'd wished upon a star for it
- Well rendered finishing moves with collision capabilities
- Levelling up system that is far too engrossing (for a kid in the late 90's, early 00's)
- Great for the early fans of this show

Cons:

- No real backstory
- US Voices (Although I had the PAL w/ *** Dubs)
- Compared to Tekken, slow and graphically inferior

The Verdict:

I began watching DBZ when I was 7, when it was first broadcast via Cartoon Network in the UK (Ocean dub rules by the way) and this game was the first little slice of the action I got from the DBZ franchise, and I would play it mindlessly with mates/family and spend hours of the day levelling up SS4 Goku (as I was the only person to unlock him) and we all thoroughly enjoyed the roster, voice acting and move sets, and no amount of Raging Blast playing will subtract from it being my initial involvement with the DBZ gaming franchise and how much I adore it. Stop giving it bad reviews, obviously it isn't good because Budokai 1 was released in 2001! Seriously people, what the hell is wrong with you?!
