Best portable Dragonball game!
I was glad to see that this was not the case i was actually playing through the story at my own pace which was very close to the anime. After playing the GBA version of Dragonball (Dragonball Advanced i know how original) the DS version is a much better play through and it feels like a Dragonball game with all the comedy it had in the anime, even tho there isn't much voice acting in the game you do have some random voices pop up now and again i.e. with goku as he sets off on the flying nimbus he shouts YAHOO-OO! or master roshi with his perverted laugh.
Putting in memroable cutscenes from the show and awesome character models for a DS put good gameplay in and you have a excitable game. All in all if you are a fan of dragonball or your thinking of watching it do play this game as it tells the story well and it is a good game yes there are flaws with the game like if the screen gets to crowded and you try to preform a move it does get confused and it does something else. Sometimes the frame rate lags slows the game down a bit but its few and far between.
It dosen't tell the whole of the dragonball story it only goes up to the tournament but it is still a lenghty game with extra levels to do after the story is complete and collectibles to grab so replay is there and it dosen't seem like a chore to replay the game.
The style of the game is an advenutre game with RPG elements thrown in which works as goku levels up you can purchase upgrades for your attacks to make them stronger and kick some more ass. the fights are evenly paced out and the enemy's arnt too hard to beat some of the enemys through the levels need some thinking on how to kill them but im sure you will work it out. there are a few puzzles in the game but there not anything to use half a brain cell with.
In conclusion
This is one of the better Draagonball games out there so if you havnt got it i would really think about it as it has everything a good game has but obviously has some flaws which can be put a side as there are more positives than negatives to the game.
