Although its a pretty smooth gameplay, it is lacking in a story.

Honestly, I'm impressed with how many characters they have, and each character having five or more special moves is pretty nice. You could end up getting hooked on this game for quite a while. although you will start to notice all of these things that could have been added to make it better. I've seen the show before and see that It's usually two people battling off waiting until one loses to send in another. In this game your only able to have 2 people battle at a time, having maybe a third or fourth player every once in a while would be nice. Although I guess I could say they make up for that in the Team battle, in which you choose up to 5 people in a team, even though its just a one on one until one dies. I also can't believe that there isn't a story mode. Seeing something happen other than just constantly fighting random people all the time would definitely stand out.
I think perhaps a customizable character that you could make look like anything would be nice. Although you can customize the special powers for each character.
One really Interesting thing is the fact that depending on who you choose while fighting, you could end up having about 5 characters.
For example, choosing the character known as Goku, you can become a Super Saiyan Goku, a Second Super Saiyan and a third super Saiyan. Also in team mode, Having both the characters Vegeta and Goku, you can fuse them together to make someone named Vegito. I see little flaws in the gameplay. One thing that seems to bring down the score a bit would be the combo move repeats. Every combo you do ends up being the same moves over and over (even though the effects of the combo could change a bit.) There are many upgrades you can give to your character to increase their strength, defense, special powers and many other things.
