Fun for a fan of the series.
It is your standard 3d fighter which pits 2 characters from the show agianst each other in each fight. If you know the show, you will like playing as your favorite character, if you dont know the show, well you probably didnt buy this game.
The visuals are nice. Cell shading was clearly the best way to go. The graphics capture the animation from the show and really make you belive you are playing a battle from the show.
The sound is also pretty good. The fighint grunts and punches sound clean and all the special attacks that the characters can unleash sounds authentic to the show. Also all the voice actors from the show lend their talent here, which really helps to bring you into the experiance.
The story mode is a very fun part. It starts you off from the beginning of the story to the end. Each diffrent stage is played out like a turn based stratagy game. Characters move along the paths, collecting powerups and money, and engaging enemies. When you engage an enemy, it throws you into the fight screen and you have to defeat your opponent.
Overall the story mode is quite easy and a experianced fighter on the game can blow through it in about 5 hours.
The good part about it is every time you fight and beat a diffrent opponent, you can unlock him or her to play in free modes. There are tons of unlockables so you will find yourself doing the story mode over and over agian to unlock them all.
Then the bad. There arnt that many fighting moves, and seeing that you can customize each character with every move of the game, all characters end up being exactly the same. The fighting is rather bland after the first 20 fights or so and it gets really boreing.
But for fans of the series it is the best choice out there and well worth the money.
