Dragonball z Budokai 2 is similar to Budokai 1 in gameplay but the graphics otherwise scores big time due to the impressive cell-shaded 3d graphics. You'll feel like you're fighting in an anime, which is really really great. But sad to say, the 3d cutscenes has been cut-off, NO MORE... ( which is not a great thing!! ) The developer suppose to make the cutscene to make gamers fell the game, but they replace the story mode (which has some cutscenes in Budokai 1) with the dragon world. The new mode is not really great, it's just an issue to replace the story mode for my opinion. If they include both story and dragon world mode, this game will definately get more score than this one. Despite the lack of cutscenes and story mode, this game is still fun to play. You can fuse Goku with Vegeta, Goten with Trunks, Yamcha with Tien (this is the weird one!) and Goku with Hercule@Mr. Satan (this's even weirder!!). The gameplay is just the same as the first one as mentioned, but you can now execute the kamehameha waves while only using 2 buttons. The conclution, this game delivers enjoyable experience for everyone espscially the fans of Dragonball Z. For others, this game is just an O.K game. For fans, ya must definately buy this game, for others, depends.
