Not as good as other DBZ games, this is one of the worst in the franchise history.

Although it supports a decent multiplayer with improved graphics from the first Budokai, this game is really nothing new. Taking away some of the characters was probably one of the worst things they could have done. Sure.. they added some new kick ass characters but seriously... we need a huge variety! The craptastic single player campaign is solute worst part of this game. I once read "if i wanted a board game, I could have just went to Wal-Mart and spent $20 less on a Monopoly board" and i totaly agree. This game is short, fairly easy (aside from the final Kid Buu fight), and kind of lame. The only DBZ game worse than this one is DBZ Sagas. This game is fun at first and gets old fast. On the PS2 version you can just use a cheat to unlock everything, that makes the game boring, one of the reasons you play it is to unlock stuff, not to start the first level againt Raditz with the spirit bomb and all of unlockable characters. This game is a total let down and ruins the reputation of the Budokai series. Once you play Budokai 3, you will never be seen playing this game again.
