This goes beyond the DragonBall Z universe. This is a statement to all fighting games. DragonBall Z is back.

The DragonBall Z games over the years were horrid. You admit it. I admit it. But Budokai 1 kind of brought back the feel of the DBZ series. The problem with it was the lack of depth and a combo system. And then Dimps came back with DBZ Budokai 2, which had some cool new features and graphics, but the story mode-game board toned down the DragonWorld-story mode of the first game.

DBZ Budokai 3 improves on every aspect that was wrong with the first 2 games. Dimps reintroduced the DragonWorld mode(now renamed to DragonUniverse)and displayed a new fighting system, where long combos and canceling prevail. They also introduced a new "Hyper mode" to the fighting system(this is available to all characters). Which leads to the new "DragonRush" attack(also available to all characters). This DragonRush allows the player to continuosly whale on the opponent in a rock-paper-scissors type bout. The player (and opponent)will choose one of the face buttons on the controller and try to avoid the same button pressed by the opponent. But if the player presses the same face button as the opponent, the DragonRush will end. But if you are lucky enough to continue the DragonRush, the attack wil end in a punishing kiblast(either one ki blast, or several). The only downside to this would be the fact that basically every DragonRush is the same.

If you get this game, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, who spent countless hours relentlessly trying to kill Majin Buu(stupid fatass!).
