I've been watching the Dragon Ball tv shows for a while now with my son (DB,DBZ,DBGT) and must say that this game hits the nail right on the head when it comes to conveying the fighting that the shows exhibit. Over 30 fighters and more than 10 arenas, including damaged versions of several of them, make this a very robust fighter. While some characters do blow the doors off others this is only in keeping with the Dragon Ball world and there are enough top fighters to provide an even match-up if you are fighting a buddy. The characters and arenas look almost identical to their tv counterparts and the special energy blasts from each one have to be seen to be believed. Characters fight in the air after being punched or kicked airborne and it is awesome. We have Virtua Fighter Four and Soul Caliber Two which are both more realistic and deep in their fighting and also War of the Monsters which until this game was the most "fun" fighter. This game is definately the most enjoyable fighting game there is, more than enough fun and easy to get into for amatuers with enough depth and character selection to surprise serious fighting fans...Dragon Ball fans rejoice!!!
