Great Game It's worth your buck.

User Rating: 8.3 | Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 PS2
Budokai 3 took a huge turn around in the series. The first to games were okay, but Budokai 3 delivers on DBZ style fighting. Dragon Universe: Probably the best thing in this game is Dragon Universe. This is the story mode for Budokai 3, and it's a lot better than the board game crap in Budokai 2. In Dragon Universe you fly around to find items, money and special converstations which can change the way the story is told. For instance if you visit the Mountains and find Tien and Supreme Kai before you fight Majin buu it unlocks a fight against Broly. Dragon Universe gives you many characters to do Story mode with including a certain Vilain. You can level up these characters to a max level of 99.

Dueling: Dueling is what you expect you can fight either 1P vs Com, 2P vs Com, 1P vs 2P or Com vs Com. Skill Capsules: Skill Capsules is a store where you can purchase skill capsules varying from different prices. World Tournament: As in previous Budokai games World Tournament is what you expect. There are 4 levels of World Tournament. Novice, Adpet, Advanced and Cell games. Cell games is a twist where you fight just like in Tournament, but when you get knocked out of the ring you don't get disqualified. Dragon Arena: An arena of secret fighters where you can level up your characters and fight other people's character's using the Password mode

Disappointments: Unfortunately they don't take advantage of the PS2's Online, the graphics are a step up from Budokai 2, but still not the greatest. Some Dragon Universe character's stories are short, but it's okay I guess. Conclusion: Overall Budokai 3 is a great game for the fans to pick up and even those who aren't big fans to pick up as well. This is worth more than a rental.
