This is the gospel truth, Dragon Ball Z fans; as a whole, DBZ games suck. In fact, the Budokai series didn't actually give the franchise much justice. The only exception so far is Dragon Ball Z:Budokai 3.

The game features a huge cast of characters (about 40 to be exact), and some pretty damn fast gameplay. It just pisses on the early games. And they made it just like the show.

The only problem are that they made it just like the show. Also with other games that have more depth into it (say Tekken and Soul Calibur), it to damn simple. Nobody has they own moves. Plus, if wanted to watch the giant energy blast during a fight, I'd play a RPG.

With all it's problem, the game's still fun. It more than makes up for the other DBZ games tha sucked hard. If you into the show, then pick this up now. If not... I'd say rent it first. No matter how good the game is, not everyone is into dragon ballz.
