the only major difference is the number of characters

they have added some more moves to keep fighting from getting too boring. at first i wasn't impressed with the game but after playing it for a few hours i got used to it. there are a ton of characters and new environments. the new story mode includes every fight that occurs in the show. it seems like it should take a long time to beat, so for $40 it seems to be worth the money. there are some areas that i don't like. when you, or your opponent get knocked down its hard to get up when the guy keeps attacking. some of the sounds in the game get annoying but you can turn that down. overall some parts of the game are frustrating but overall its a good game.
