well, better than tenkaichi 1 but still in the shadow of budokai 3

storywise this game kicks ass, it explains quite elaboratley the entire dragon ball z history. minus a few minor characters. and character selection wise it also kicks ass becuase there are literaly more than two thirds of everyone who has ever been in the actuall show or movies. but the downside is the special moves. there just not up to par with budokai 3, and the only reason i STILL play 3 from time to time with my friends is so that i can rip them apart with an awesome looking 100xbigbangkamehameha. in wich super sayain 4 gogeta lets his enemy get a couple meaningless hits on him while he stands there in boredom. then when hes had enough he knocks them down to the ground and shoots them in the face. in tenkaichi two...guess what happens....................nothing.
gogeta says "100xbigbangkamehameha and.......thats it. he shoots it, nothing else. hours upon hours of playing through every dbz movie and saga just to unlock ssj4gogeta and thats it. i was pissed, and not to say the least, very let down. as i was with a few others i had high hopes for. but that doesnt mean this game is horrible. some fights are pertty fun and most are at least challenging. but the other thing that makes me angry is that ssj4 goku and ssj4 vegeta are seperate characters from goku and vegeta. meaning...you cannot select goku as your character and then through the course of the fight transform through kioken-ssj-ssj2-ssj3-ssj4. nope you must select ssj4 goku and vegeta from the character select menu, bummer. another element which might be good or bad that depends on your opinion is that to perform a fusion or use potora you must have the two fighters required for the fusion/potora to be partners in a tag battle. yes there are now tag battles and for you to fuse in vegito, you must select vegeta and goku as partners, which means if your playing against a friend and select vegeta and goku as your character they pretty much know what your planning. but dispite all that the fighting is decent, throwing combos together and chasing opponents across the huge levels is cool. and i should also add, two player vs matches are split screen, thats right, vertically down the middle, beacuase the levels are so huge you wouldnt be able to fit both characters on the screen if they were too far away from eachother. which makes two player matches kinda of weird and tricky, which personally i dont like. but you know its not awful, just different. so overall i guess id have to say this game is for the fans, who want the story and to see there favorite character who didnt make it into previous games.
