Extremely repetitive and annoying storyline,not enough combo's for character's,and predictable opponent's.
Afterall,it has voice acting from Dragon ball z voice actor's,so many playable character's,and the graphics looked great.
But alas,i was let down greatly by this piece of B.S.
First off,the character's all have only about 3 attack's you will care about,and the button combo's are easy and the same for all character's.
Your opponent's do the same stuff every-match and you would be pretty hard-pressed to find a good challenge here,there's only about one match i had trouble with at first(Hercule vs Android 18).
The worst thing about this game is it takes the great DBZ storyline and makes it into a pile of crap.
The Commentary for about every chapter goes like this eg "Coola has easily defeated goku,can goku find it in him to defeat this foe" Then when you beat coola for the 3rd and final time"Goku at the last of his strenght summoned a final attack which defeated coola,peace on earth at last"
Good the first time,but after the 20th time get's extremely irritating and you'll find yourself wanting to throw your controller into the wall.
It's too easy to get a full power bar,and then summon an ultimant attack,this game was made with dragonball-z fanboy's in mind,but they failed serverly with the storyline,and the modes are all seen before from budokai games,just this is a failed rip-off of them.
This game is a piece of junk,only fanatical Dragonball z fans will have any fun with this game,and i highly recommend you to get Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 instead.
This game could have been great,but the developer's stuffed it up badly.
