Dragon ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is the next chapter of the Dragon ball game sequel. After many games and many characters, I could say that everything that a DbZ should have is on Tenkaichi 2. In Tenkaichi 2 producers put together an amazing rooster of characters, about 120 to be specific. And they put together all the sagas together in a single story line. This was a big improvement to other DbZ games (even though Dbz budokai 3 was great as well) and it was perfect for all the thousands of DbZ fans. The game is set similar to the rest of the old Dbz games. You have the story mode, tournament mode, practice, versus, shop, options, etc. Wth all this options to choose from the game is pretty interesting and addictive. In story mode you follow the story since the beginning of Dragonball Z, saiyan saga. So you have to fight against Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta. But there is a twist to the story, producer added a " what if " event, where Raditz hits his head and become good (like Goku when little). I think that this was good since fans already know the story by doing this you'll get surprise (...I sure did). Then the series continue but not only with what was shown in t.v but also the movies were added!!! I thought that it was great since never before character from those movies were in the game (such as Tapion, or Lord slug or Super android 17). In tournament mode you have to battle through different tournaments with different levels. At first only the first level is open for all tournaments but when you beat them all you are ready for the next and android 18 gives you a pass to the next level and so on until the end. Versus mode is really fun (if you have friends or family that could play with you, off course) and you could show your skills and see who is the best Goku, or Vegeta, of Gohan. I really like that they added two-on-two matches is so fun and is great since a have great difficulty picking just one character since I like them all. Another thing that I think is great is the destructible arenas, is so cool being able to hit somebody against a mountain and seeing it crash....just like in the show.... because it gives this sense of realism. Also the change in the tournament arena was great, i used to hate in budokai 3 when I was kicking someone's butt and then they hit you against the edge of the ring and then an imaginary wall will brake and you'll lose. Now i love being able to fly around anywhere and kicking a$$ everywhere. I believe that this is the best Dragon ball Z game out there (with some minor errors that could be fixed) and definitely is a must for DbZ fans. If not a fan It might get boring but who cares I'm a fan and I'm loving it.
