Best dragon ball z game. A true masterpiece.
Well it finally came out. Dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 3 the third game in the tenkaichi series. The game's intention is pretty much the same as it was before. And there are a lot of improvement.
Storyline:
It has a long storyline. Not a very long one. But a long one.
The strange thing in the storyline is that you sometimes make a giant jump in the storyline. For example you start the dragon ball GT saga at the fight between goku and baby.
Game play:
Pretty much the same as it was in the previous tenkaichi's. Except you have much more combos and special attacks. Some of them are very hard to master. But if you master them you'll become nearly unbeatable. An example is the Z counter. By pressing square + up on the moment a striking attack hits you you teleport behind the enemy and slam him to the ground.
The new game play well uh actually improved game play is a mix of tenkaichi 1 and 2. The attacks from tenkaichi 1 are changed and new ones are made.
Graphics:
The game has beautiful graphics. Looks almost the as good as in the tv show. The graphics are very cool like they were in the previous games.
New features:
Well new modes aren't in the game. There are only a few new options in certain game modes. For example you know have 5 tournaments where you can fight for money (Now it's called z points). Like the otherworld tournament and the Yamcha games.
Difficulty:
Very hard. On the high difficulty settings battles can be as intense as the fights in the tv show. If you master all moves you'll have very interesting, long and great battles.
This is a very interesting challenging game that requires a lot of skill to be completed on the highest difficulty. A true masterpiece. It won't bore you for a very long time. It's absolutely worth buying. A must have for all dragon ball z lovers.
