Good game but only for the right people.

Dragon ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is a very fun and rewarding game, but can be a little frustrating at times. But for dedicated fans of the franchise, this is a must have. Also, if you like fighting games and can forgive a little flaws, you can have a really fun time with the game. The thing that I found most frustrating about the game was that it would often have cut scenes in the middle of the battles. This, however was not the problem, the problem was that the player has to press R3 to initiate the cut scene and this will only work if the player will stand still. In the middle of some really hectic battles and when you are running low on life, standing still to press R3 can be a real nuisance as you might die and have to start the fight all over again. This was the only thing that I really found annoying. The rest of the game is exquisite. The combat is so fast-paced and fun and the graphics are also sharp. Pulling off big moves like the Kamehameha and the Spirit Bomb are not very hard and most special attacks require the pressing of only a few buttons. But sometimes, the best attack a character has may be, let's say, a Spirit Bomb. When this move is pulled off and the bomb is thrown, the opponent can sometimes dodge it. Also, when doing a Kamehameha, the opponent can do a special attack of their own, such as Frieza's death beam, which is faster to do than a Kamehameha, it will hurt you tremendously and the energy you spent charging up the Kamehameha is also wasted. But this game is very fun overall and fans of the franchise will definitely love this game and even normal games in general who want to enjoy a great fighting game will also like it, as long as they can forgive the game's few flaws.
