Its a good start for DBZ.

I can say it, I'm a DBZ fan since I was young, still is but not a lot into it like I was before. This game is a good fighter, the gameplay is so unique. It has a more DBZ feeling to it now. But there is still parts of this game that you can still feel like its missing. I was excited to see how many characters you can unlock in this one. Some were just transformations of a certain character. I was glad to see that you can choose the characters transformation other than choosing the original character (ex. Start the fight as a Super Saiyan.) The only downside to that is that you can't transform in the battle. There is something else like a transformation, it acts more like a power up to make your character stronger. The story mode is a lot better than it was before. Budokai 2 and 3 was kinda disappointing. 2 was a major disappointment and 3 was somewhat better but no animations that made attracted me to DBZ. Tenkaichi story mode is more satisfying, satisfying as the first Budokai on PS2. Graphics changed a bit, but its still good. The backgrounds look more real and the characters are cell-shaded. It's a nice mixed which they did very well to me. The way that every building or mountain was destroyed looked beautiful, made me wanna crash the enemy into every one of them. The sound and music was just average to me some where a bit the same for the previous games. You can have a choice to switch the voice-overs to Japanese or not, which seem to me to be a good add-on. Originally, this game came out for 50, I think. I would of gave the value a 7, but I raised it up because I bought it for 20. It's a good start for this new style of gameplay, but there's still some feeling that's missing. I seen Tenkaichi 2 is coming out soon, hopefully that'll fill in the empty spaces inside me.
