All of these DBZ games even though I love them just don't seem to be going anywhere....... This is close, but not quiet.
Gameplay ~ This was a good experiment but the game hasn't lifted off the ground.... yet....... tenkaichi 2 im gonna buy. The gameplay is definetely more realistic what with the mega health increase and the much more realistic attack speed. The characters also seem to be more pesonalize in a sense that they have they're own strengths and weaknesses ( e.g. Gohans speed). There are also are many more character due mostly to the fact that there's no real transformations they are preset which I have to say I like. And probably the best kick u'll get out of the game is that u can be monkey form guys ( argueably SSJ5). The story setup is good but it jusst doesn't feel like ur getting anywhere.
Sound ~ The music hasn't changed ( and never really has), and the effects aren't anything new to DBZ.
Value ~ Wait until it goes down to $40, but I think that It's $20 right now so it doesn't matter.
Tilt ~ Controls take awhile to get used to if ur used to B1 - B3. There's no more skill system and I don't think any lvl system so the game doesn't have as much replayability. As I said almost off the ground but not quiet, but it's a whole new concept and battle system so i'll definetely give the credit. I'll definetely give them another chance in Tenkaichi 2 as I think this system has potential. I still like B3 though...... We'll see how Tenkiachi 2 is..... I hope they pull off one good enough so that my headline/classification will read "Best in series".
