Leaves a bad taste in your mouth

Dissapointing, plain and simple. I had a lot hope for this game, as I had thouroghly enjoyed budukais 2 and 3, and upon seeing the budukai name on the front cover of the game, i thought to myself "well if it is a budukai then the creators couldn't have screwed it up too bad", boy was i wrong, and, as they had done time and time again before, the dbz game creators pretty much kicked me in the nuts for trusting them... they're still swollen, anyway, back to the topic, i respect what the creators were trying to do, trying to make a game that was truer to the t.v. show by allowing you to fly at any time that you felt like it, this is a noble endevour, but not one that belongs in a budukai game d@%n it! if your going to try to develop a new kind of game, you go ahead and do that, but you don't risk screwing over a near perfect franchise in the process! i like the stylized graphics, and the attempt at staying true to the series with the verrying difficulty levels (ssj2 gohan could completely pown cell one round, and then get powned himself the next) and the massive cast of charictars including lesser known fighters like dodoria (which i have been dying to play since i first found out he would be in the game) all these things would make for a good dbz game, BUT NOT A BUDUKAI! the budukai games are pure fighting, all this flying around and faulty energy collection and crappy camera and jacked up controls ruin the good parts of the game, and not even my die-hard dbz fanboydum could not make this game even the slightest bit worth keeping (that is, after the first 2 weeks where i gave it chance after chance to blow me away)
