This Game continues the Budokai series which is based on the Anime series Dragonball Z and Dragonball Gt. This game is the 4th in the budokai series and offers a completley new style of fight, this new style of fighting is like a Free-Roaming battle so you can explore amazing environments to find places to hide or charge powerful attacks. This Game Includes many heroes from the cartoon series such as Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Trunks aswell as villians such as Frieza, Cell and the Evil (and pink) Majin Buu. Each Character has their own set of attacks which require Ki Which is basically power used for special Attacks. Each character can be equip with special items to increace there speed, Attack and Ki so if you are stuck on an opponent it would be wise you equip items to your advantage. There are a few game modes such as the world tournament which allows you to fight against a opponent until either you or your opponent are either knocked out or knocked out of the ring. There is also a ultimate batlle mode that allows you to rank any character by fighting the top 100 fighters in the game. The Best Mode (to me) is the dragon gate mode which allows you to travel through all the saga's of the anime series. The gameplay does get repetetive and you see yourself doing the same thing over and over and i personally cannot play this game for more than about one or two hours a day but that can be a good thing because that means this game would last you quite awile. If your are a fan of the cartoon or the Budokai series you must buy this game but if you are not then i suggest you stick to tekkan or dead or alive.
