This game was not all that i hoped it would be. while it does deliver some pretty cool fights, the enemies can be cheap.

I personally think that the new developer spike tried to do its homework but something is kind of lacking. While the action may be fast paced, it can get confusing if u just got off the budokai 3 bus. The buttom layout is very akward and doesnt feel natural. And there is something lacking in the whole collecting move area, it just seemed natural in budokai 3 but now you dont buy them so thus u have to earn them throught the game but it doesnt feel like u really earned it.

But underneath all this action is a really cool game. The new free roaming levels in this game make it feel liek an actual dragon ball episode. I also really dig the fact that you dont have to go through all the sagas in a row before u get to the one you want, you can skip the saiyan saga and go to freeza or the cell games. If you veterans can get passed the wierd new control scheme this is a great game and as for newbies, trust me, go to training first!
