I had put in a review earlier on giving this game a 8.9 but as I played on and on I came to the realization of how much of a let down this game is. Don't get me wrong this is a good game but needs much much work. Spike had the right idea but didnt deliver they talking about they will have almost every character on the game but they are not even close they dont have Taplon from movie 13 Why the hell would they take out the great Omega Shenron!? And that preview of the game lied to everyone when Goku had on that scouter and going through the gameplay and stuff he mentioned Piccon but hell where is he!? They said on the case there would be 57 different characters and I have everybody and I only counted 56. And besides that most of the characters are just different versions of themselves example: Gogeta, SSJ 4 Gogeta, Trunks w/ sword Trunks (fighting). Now to me a TRUE DBZ game is having every relevant good guy and villian who ever serviced in the game like Terolis who looks like Goku Garlic Jr. in his final form though all the eveil shenrons pan, young uub and grown up UUb, and I can go on and on also by them having lighnting fast battles, over exxaggerated energy blasts and having every single energy blast available. They still have that ridiculously cheesy music I really feel they should just take the musci from the actual show because alot of the music they play during some battles just takes away the seriousness and the intensity of the battle unlike the show. I aint got much beef with the gameplay once you learn the controls then thats where you may actually begin to enjoy this game for whatever little enjoyment it may give you but the big issue is that the learning curve for the controls is sooo darn long you most likely will be sick of the game before it even bagan and I believe one of the reasons is there is no in-game tutorial where they tell you how to do something then you do it and you move on. I aint complaining too much about them taking away in-game transformations but that takes away alot of the strategy in a battle. I dont like the fact that they took away much of the great moves that the characters had in Budakai 3 like SSJ 4 Goku's super Dragon fist and young Goku's Dragon fists and some of these so-called finishing moves arent soo super when you see them this game had sooooooo much potential and still does but in the end it just couldnt deliver so I would say rent it return it and be done with this one because in the end its just a let down And I dont know what these other guys were thinking giving this a 10.0 no game is perfect sorry to bust your bubble but with all the potential it has if they decide to make another one I believe that maybe the next can shape out to be the very best Dragon Ball Z game ever made but as of now Budakai 3 still holds that title
