"DBZ Legends meets DBZ Budokai"

User Rating: 9.2 | Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi PS2
This game is worthy of the DBZ licence, which was one of my main concerns when I heard it was going to be a free roaming fighter, because honestly, how many times has a project like this failed to deliver?
Tenkaichi one the other hand has everything it boasted to bring us and probably could bring us on a Ps2.

One thing that may put some people off is that this is a game made for DB/DBZ/GT fans and pretty much them alone. The story mode presents the movies and sagas in a way that only a fan could appreciate, the cut scenes are not glamorous and these alone will not impress.

I think the developers of this game realised that DBZ fans are seriously proud and believe that they put a hell of alot of research into this awsome series.

Tenkaichi to me, seems like an adaptation of DBZ Legends (PS1), the character selection is indentical (choosing a form), as are the cut scenes for the moves (short and sweet, keeps it intense). Even the combat system is undeniably similar. Anyone expecting to play Tenkaichi like Budokai 3 is making a big mistake, this is a new game in my opinion.

If your a fan of DB/DBZ/GT you be insane not to buy this game, it's everything you could want. (Fan's of Metal Cooler may be disapointed, he seems to have went on holiday for this title)

It's up to the fans to keep this franchise going, so go buy a copy of Tenkaichi so they can make the next one!
