It's short and doesn't satisfy the cravings. It's another dranganball z sagas..

Don't get me wrong, it's a good dragonball z game. Huge 3D environments and lots of characters but you can tell it's no budokai 4. It's a game on it's own like sagas. Sure the environments were big and it went through more of the story line but it was missing something that everyone enjoyed.

Why do we watch dragonball z? Is it for the simple story line that expands a hundred episodes for each new enemy? No. It's for the absolute pure action of the characters fighting each other with powerful god-like energy. To blast an enemy with a fireball like the sun and to hear the words "Welcome to oblivion...".

Sadly, tenkaichi did not have this. There were no words or catchy slogans as they did finishers. Half the time you couldn't even see the finisher. All you saw was a blinding light and the damage of the opponent going down. Tenkaichi is unique because it has more characters and a wider arena but that's all it has going for it. Most people only use three out of the only five moves given to each character. Fights were over in 30 seconds even on a normal difficulty.

Atleast dragonball z budokai 3 had several moves, lots of characters and plenty of amazing finishers to gaze at in awe.

To feel powerful and to awe at our own strength. That's what budokai 3 was all about and I'm anxious to play budokai 4 when there is one.

As for tenkaichi. If you liked sagas than I'm sure this game is for you. While you enjoying being blinded white lights, I'll be playing budokai 3 and watching bardock explode the side of the earth with everything he has. But than... what do I know about games, I only play them.
