Truly Amazing!! But not without its flaws...
Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi is not without its setbacks though. For example, in Z battle gate (story mode), you cannot fly around the world like in previous games; instead, you choose a battle, like Raditz vs. Piccolo for example, and you fight it. Simple as. Also, in some of the battles, your objective is to survive for a fixed period of time against your opponent. This basically means you spend the whole battle running away or you risk your life fighting (you don’t do any damage to your opponent with your fists in these battles).
I also found that completing the game was way too easy. But there is also Ultimate battle where you attempt to move up through the rankings, starting at number 101 and aiming to be the best. This is very much like Dragon Arena in Budokai 3 where people brake in, but you don’t need them to, to unlock them.
Overall, this game is well worth buying, even if you don’t like DBZ, but if you do and you call yourself a fan, this is a must!
