Never had this much fun for a game in any console or pc for a Long Time.
the single players levels are broken up into missions so you can skip some of them and comeback later if its too hard. Don't judge the gameplay by gamespot's gameplay videos (as of this day oct 23 2005)cause i dont think they are done by pros but maybe the video review is much better if they are going to do one.
control wise if you don't get it your not going to enjoy much of it and you would probably give it a low score, but it gets much more fun as you become good with it. The melee isnt just button smashing either, you can deal some heavy damage and long combos if you know what our doing and the defending side needs to have good reaction and second guess the attacker a bit in order to escape. The melee is somewhat faster than Budokai 3 with fewer interruption cut scenes but they do still exist for speacial blast and finishes. I find the games also have fewer power struggles where both players has to roll the analog stick to win but thats fine cause it just equals to more skill less button mash or emm..... roll.
pros
-Graphics are bit better than Budokai 3 which is good already
-Able to control flying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!+++
-Able to destroy objects in the level!!!!!!+++
-Lots of character
-CAn skip missions and come back to it later
-Lots of mission(longer game)
Cons
-No replay selection anywhere during missions which means more loadings if you fail
-tough learning curve for beginning levels
-No Freakin online man!!!!!!!!!!!!- - - - - -
This is best in the series, only way to top this is to have online.
