this game is good and take a step in the right direction but its being held back by a few things. i am probably the most hardcore dbz there is so i already love it and yet i must say certain characters should have been in here and are not. there is a large selection, yes, but taking characters AWAY from budokai 3 to add losers like the ginyu force isnt smart. ive played all 4 and i went 3 years without those guys. it was cool to see them but i was expecting people such as omega, eis, nouva, and syn shenron... i also expected uub, majuub, and normal ssj broly... i even saw a preview of them game sayin pikon would be there... none of these make an appearence, and to be perfectly honest, it makes me almost hate this game... i am hoping the next wont goes in the patter of the series... budokai 1 was great, and then 2 was terrible (mainly because of the story mode), 3 was the best so far but the system was abit annoying and too simple (dragon rush... wtf?) now 4... the story mode is lacking for ppl who arent devoted fan and leave much of the story to be filled in, the supermodes are too simplified and, frankly, cheap... and the character selection is infuriating... all in all, its good, but still needs work.
one more thing i should mention... if u have spent a lot of time fine tuning ur budokai skill until now, u will suck massively for a while at this new system... but it makes for a fun challenge
