Though Budokai Tenkaichi differs greatly from the previous entries in the PS2 franchise, that isn't a bad thing...

Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi differs greatly from the previous "street fighter" style entries in the Budokai franchise, recycling the combat system and reassembling it as much more of a DBZ experience. You have much more control of your character as you fly around fully-destructible stages and smash your opponents against the ground, into the sky, or under the water. Many new characters have been added spanning from the Saiyan Saga of DBZ to the Shenron Saga of DBGT including the Ginyu Force fighters, Super 17, Bojack, Evil Buu, and many more. Some characters also have been taken out of the game such as Omega Shenron and Uub. Nonetheless, this game is truly an action-packed experience and nearly any Dragonball Z-GT fan will be pleased.
