THE GOOD

The game is really good. I feel the free flight in the game adds to the DBZ experience and brings to life the feeling of the show. Storymode is fun to play and will kept most DBZ fans interested. Graphics are beautiful and pay tribute to the anime. For example the real time damage of the characters during battle, just adds that extra element of realism to the anime, although damage could be lil worse like the anime. The character voices are great and help the gameplay aswell, especially with the unique taunts for the characters. Learning curve is fair and allows players to begin to fight well after a short time. Tons of characters to choose from. Gameplay is fun.

THE BAD

The first bad pooint of the game which i noticed was the fact that the training mode was just cutscene with explanations unlike Budokai 3, which i felt was a great disappointment. Second was the cutscenes, they are reali quite dull to watch with no action and can repeat itself quite a few times within the storymode in a few sagas. Third point is the transformation feature.........there is none!!!!!! This reali let the game down. I mean come on not being able to tranform in battle, is nothin like the anime. This is replaced by you having to select your form at the character menu. Special move animations could also look more devastating but they work well in this game. A few characters i'd expect to have seen arent there. Could have worked multiplayer better as the screen view is small making it hard to vouch for!

OVERVIEW

The gameplay is brill i think that they have got the pace just right. The battles dont end too quickly but dont drag on, until you get bored. For this series to be perfect the next game will have to include features of Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi, but for now it will do. Keep working at it folks, next game should be PERFECT! and dont forget the transformations!!!!!
