I just picked this game up the other day and I was very impressed. I read some of the reviews on GS and those of other players and I got a little worried that this game might not be as good as I originally thought. At first when I was just getting used to the new controls I was a little skeptical, but once I got the hang of them I just didn't want to stop playing. This game's graphics are amazing. You just look at the characters and you think you're watching the show not playing a game. The flying is a great addition, being able to just dash away really helps when running low on ki. The combat in this game is much more fast paced, although the health is just one giant bar. They removed the kick button I think for the better. Just being able to tap one button then throw some ki blasts just gives it more a a DragonBall feel. The special moves have also been simplified which also helps with the speed of the battles, but with the new energy bar system it keeps players from being to play cheaply and just shoot killing blast after killing blast. This game is very different from the other Budokai games, but I highly recommend picking it up if you are a fan of DBZ. If you are just looking for a Tekken knock-off then I would suggest one of the first three Budokais.
