Very close to the shows style.....
You can fly independently (finally) which is a plus. The environments are bigger (though we still could use a little more leg room.) and more destructable. However for the sake of containing a bigger roster, they eliminated in game transformations, which was a lame decision. There is a huge roster of characters from DB, DBZ, DBGT, and most of the DBZ movies.
I'm still dissapointed with the tacky character development system, and they even contain recycled music from the other Budokai games. Even though this game is developed by a different team of designers. The games two player option has both players using vertical split screen action. They could have at least made a system link option where you can have your own screen.
Power struggles are a plus though. The special moves aren't as flashy as the other games in the series. And the rest are just the same moves other characters got. They should at least be creative and make up new moves, not every little thing has to relate to the show.
But this game is worth playing and it shows potential for future DBZ games.
