For the major DBZ fan, addictive if you are into multiple angle fighting games.

This game has incredible graphics in the entire DBZ genre. Better than that, the game has a massive array of characters. One of the cons is though, that some characters are really just branch transformations of normal characters: Goku to Super Saiyan Goku to SS2 Goku, ect. The good thing about this however, is that you can never be forced into powering down in battle like in the previous Budokai games.

Characters like Androids and Majins have been altered to better follow the shows by denying them certain advantages (androids, for example, can not power themselves unless going to full power mode) and giving them other advantages (androids thus, power up naturally quicker than ordinary characters).

Some may say that this game is just not as good as the orignal Budokais 1, 2, and 3 because you are forced to deal with an extra dimension. Don't believe that so much, once you practice at it you should learn it pretty quickly. There are a few apparent glitches like forgotten translations (Trunks' Finish Buster sometimes comes out in Japanese.)

Overall the game is worth playing if you liked the original Budokais, or just a fan of the show overall.
