The best DBZ game for the gamecube.

User Rating: 8.8 | Dragon Ball Z: Budokai GC
Dragon ball z Budokai for the Gamecube is a port of the original Ps2 game that was released one year before, but it's better than the ps2 version. i bought this game after sagas so i didn't know what to expect, and for my surprise it turned out to be an outstanding fighting game and maybe one of the top five for the gamecube.

The graphics are superb, well for a dragon ball z game anyway, it looks really cool and the characters are perfectly recreated in full 3d instead of the clasic cell shaded look. The game has a variety of modes, but the best one is the story mode, it's perfectly recreated in full 3D and if you want to know more about the series, this is a perfect way to do it. During the story mode you'll find some minigames and that's great, because it gives you a break of the figthing for a moment. The gameplay is great, you have a kick button, a punch button and a power button, doing button combinations can do some combos and the characters special attacks, it's kinda hard at first, but after a while it gets pretty easy to do them. The only bad thing about the gameplay is the movement, you don't fell like you're controlling a saiyan that can move at the speed of ligth, you fell like you're controling a tank, they're terribly slow and besides you can fly unless somebody punch you to the air.

The music is awesome just like the voice acting and the game has a lot of replay value, specially when you play multiplayer or in the world tournament to make some money to buy power ups. The game is great and it's the best DBZ game for the Gamecube.
