this is the first game in the budokai series. it has (i think) 23 characters, ranging from the saiyan saga, to the cell games saga. the main mode in this game is story mode, which really makes it almost better than the other games. the story mode shows clips that are very close to the show, unlike the budokai games after this one. you will fight as many different characters in story mode, and once you complete it, you will unlock secret chapters for unlocking characters. there is also duel, where you can fight another character, computer controlled, or human controlled. overall this game is: not bad, but could use improvement.
