Dragon ball z has had its up and its downs with games over the years. Hyper dimension has great graphics for what its trying to pull off. The game has a tendency to have bad frame rates when huge action is going for example when you have your huge ki spirit ball that takes up the entire screen, the game will just take a big plunge of lag. It is neat to see some of the forms of freeza, cell, and majin buu, but the problem is that you can't actually be the other forms. Becoming gotenks and all is great, but why can't you become trunks and goten. Little things like this is the thing that brings this game down, otherwise it would be just your average fighting game just like street fighter, mortal kombat, and etc. So if you love DBZ and fighting games all in one well then give this game a spin, but don't expect it to satisfy you for long.
