A nice sequel. Could have been better, but still a great game. Definately worth buying.

Since this game is a sequel, the review is basically gonna be based on the comparison between the old one and this one.

The gameplay - yes, just like all the DBZ games you have met, is great. Also, they added camera angle changes which let the players play the game just like the previous versions in PS2. You can actually fly around the field on this one, which is so much better than the last one because it feels as if the world of DBZ is pretty big. (which the last version did not accomplish). The storyline is OK - with some flaws that true DBZ fans might find offensive (such as, if Babidi could make clones as strong as Goku and Gohan in their Saiyan forms, why does he need to take control of Vageta again?). The only bad thing about the gameplay might be that the loadings are quite frequent, but it's bareable (since i'm used to the 'now loading' sign from YS psp version). They also added a 'card collecting system' which made this game significantly better than the last one. On the original DBZ games, you got to collect capsules, but on the last PSP version, you did not get to collect anything but the stupid stamps. They still have the stupid stamps, but they added the cards - which you get by chance after each fights, which means you can't buy them, but this makes the 'collector's spirit' rise which let's the player play again and again in order to get more cards. Overall, the gameplay improved a lot.

Graphics - because the fighting graphics are almost like the PS2 version, I won't complain at all. IF that was all, I would have given it a 10. The only reason it went down to an 8 is because of the fields - the fields that you fight on. The graphics, honestly, could have been better. They are like one of those 'extreme-early-cell-shaded' boxes all over the place which makes it look like bunch of boxes painted in green and blue. Despite the fact that those graphics are bad, the fighting graphics are still amazing, so it's fine.

Sound - You get to choose between the Japanese voice acting and the American voice acting. Because I'm used to watching it in the Japanese version, I chose the Japaense one. They used the same voice actors on both Japanse and English ones, and so the dialogues flow really smoothly. The background music is ok, and the sounds that the characters make while fighting is also worthwhile to listen to.

Value - Get it. You won't regret it.

It improved a lot since the last version. The last version, though I didn't write a review, I gave it about a 6.5 in my head. I give this version an 8.7, and it could have gotten even higher scores if it added the card system into 'shops' and if the graphics on the field were slightly better. Still, it's a great game. I truly recommend it.
