Story (4/10)
This game barely stays true to the story of the Dragon Ball Z series. Each of the 15 playable characters has their own story, and almost all of it is a spin from what actually happens in the series.

Had the game actually stayed true to the storyline, however, it wouldn't be any better. Each character has eight stages in their respective stories, and the only resemblance of a storyline is a short set of poorly written dialog.

Gameplay (9/10)
Supersonic Warriors is a surprisingly fun and well-made game. It strays away from the stereotypical fighting game by implementing fighting techniques from the TV series. Each character has their own special abilities (Goku's Kamehameha Wave, Krillin's Destructo Disc, Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon, etc.) and can use them once they've charged up enough energy. Flying is an integral part of the game, and firing energy waves comes in handy when the enemy is closing in on you.

Aside from the story mode, there is also a "Z Battle" mode, which is a sort of tournament, and a versus mode in which you can battle the computer or link up with a friend.

Graphics (5/10)
The in-game graphics are only adequate. The screen only stretches so far, and the landscapes you fight in are gigantic blurs. There is no cutscene animation whatsoever. For example, in one storyline, Cell kills Piccolo with an energy wave. You do not see the energy wave, being fired, and all you see of Piccolo getting killed is his little picture on the screen shaking, and then falling.

Durability (7/10)

Overall Score (6.5/10)

Final Thoughts:
A decent game to pick up for fans of Dragon Ball Z. Do not play this if you have never watched the series.
