A surprisingly good video game for fans of the series, those who are not should simply ignore this game.
Story: 5 (There are multiple stories for the multiple characters, and some of them are either dull and or inaccurate to the actual series)
Graphics: 7 (Do not expect great visuals on a small portable handheld, yet the graphics and visuals work fine as they meant, even in certain fighting the game looks okay)
Music: 5.5 (Less than ten tracks are on this game, which might want someone to mute the game completely so they can stop hearing the same track play back and forth)
Controls: 7.5 (They are simple and effective, but constantly playing for a long amount of time can be a bit painful)
Sound: 7 (Due to how small the Game Boy Advance cartridge is, don't expect voice work in this game, only a few lines and grunts from the characters, nothing really special, but it's tolerable)
The story has multiple stories, while most of the main character's stories are the longest and most accurate, they aren't really entertaining or interesting at all. While other stories are dull, some others are inaccurate (for example, Gotenks' story ending is very inaccurate, only to end in a typical "happy ending" of sorts, while this isn't a bad thing, the stories in general are unfortunately pointless and it feels like the developers did not care about people liking the story, just filling it in as an excuse, which is kind of unfortunate, even for a handheld title.
The game-play is all that really matters in this game, and it's pretty fun for a short while, and it is really surprising that the game-play is playable on the Game Boy Advance as there are a few characters to unlock, a few challenges and sagas to unlock give the game a certain amount of replay value, which gives the game justice.
Overall, this is a pretty decent game, this is definitely recommended for fans of the series, but for those who know little to nothing about the series should otherwise ignore this game.
