A fun puzzle game, believe it or not
Dragon Dance is very similar to Arkanoid [or if you haven't played Arkanoid, it's also similar to Pong, and if you haven't played Pong, you're not a true gamer and you should be banned from Gamespot]. Basically, you use a paddle to bounce a ball on the screen. The ball should break bricks that are placed on different locations on the screen. Some of these bricks require you to crush them by hittng them twice with the ball, and some of them are not even breakable; of course, this happens at the later stages of the game. By breaking blocks you can get upgrades related to dragons; one dragon clears a bunch of bricks from the screen, another makes you faster, and so on. What's funny and interesting about this title is the paddle itself; it's not a paddle, but a dragon, a dancing dragon. It's hard to learn the controls at first, but once you learn to make the Dragon Dance [get it?] you'll be fine. There are 100 levels in the game, but you'll have to keep a notepad handy since there is no memory; you'll have to use 4-digit number passwords. It's worth it though; and another cool thing is that every 10th puzzle is actually a very entertaining and challening boss battle. The later stages are quite challening on their own. Also, a nice included feature is the fact that you can change the color of the background. And there's multiplayer too; if you can find another person with the game and a cable link you can try it out. I never did though, so I don't know what happens there :)
So Dragon Dance is a nice game to play even though it's old. Is it worth buying? Well, if you can find it today it'll prolly be cheap so I wanna say yes, but I'm sure there are better puzzle games available for PC free download. Me though, I'm gonna keep grovin' with the dragon. *dances*
