Dragon Quest

First in a great series, still far from being great.

The game in question brought many interesting concepts however, it was still just a leveling fest. Level, level up, Level up, go to next village, rinse and repeat. I can't understand why people would give this game such a high scrore even if it did establish many standards for future rpg's, it still was not all that great. If you never played a Dragon Warrior, start with Dragon Warrior 2 which fixed a lot of issues found in the first installement. If you must only play one, play Dragon Warrior 4. Good luck finding a copy though as the game is almost impossible to find today.
