I enjoyed this game quite a bit at first, the story was nice, I really liked the class building idea. It reminded me a lot of the previous dragon warrior games as far as gameplay/story/graphics go, and that was all good. But... I didn't like the method of progressing the story line, although the 2 time era's and travelling back and forth fixing things is cool, the problem is that to unlock the next area you have to meticulously search out a few hidden shards throughout the world. If you miss one, you can spend *hours* looking for the one you've missed before you can go on to the next location, that in itself made my enjoyment of the game go down a lot.
So overall, DW VII was a good game, but in the end I found the experience a little less enjoyable than I had hoped.
