If you are a big RPG fan then I can't tell you anything you don't already know about this game. But to me,RPG's have always been "too long","too complicated" and "too hard". That was before DQVIII. To me this is what an RPG should be like, fantastic colorful graphics, huge game world and interesting heroes on a noble quest, that you actually WANT to join!! I've logged over 75 hours so far and have enjoyed every minute! The cut-scenes and dialogue are great and further pull you into the game world while the random battles and varying locations always hold your interest and keep you wanting to return in order to level up your team and discover new areas to explore. A game guide is a must have purchase however to get the full gaming experience, don't let anyone tell you it isn't! I know it adds to the overall cost of the game but trust me it is money well spent for a game this huge! If you have shied away from RPG's in the past this is the game for you. I know it has been for me.
