A very old-school RPG

Dragon Quest VIII is like an old-school RPG but with pretty PS2 graphics. The story is a great wizard has cast a curse over the land and you gotta do something about it. So you follow a king that has been turned into a troll and the princess that has been turned into a horse. The story is a classic save the world premise with imaginative charecters with humor. The graphics have a cartoony and anime style and there is a vibrant atmosphere from the lush green forests and the sandy deserts. The gameplay is very simple, easy and uniform to almost every RPG. The one thing that you will probably spend your time doing on this game is "Level Grinding" Running arount the world mashing the x button to defeat enemy after enemy after enemy. But if you can look over this Dragon Quest VIII is a great experience for all gamers.
