Hardcore Rpg players look away now, this game IS for the feint hearted and requires an open mind, its NOT 100mph action!

People said " Enix have never made a good game", these people were obviously born under a rock and have been named after a terminal illness.

So I begin my review, I liked the look of this game from day one, the graphics from what I could tell from the box were original, colorful and easy on the eye, I'm 23 and should perhaps restrain myself from playing games like Kingdom hearts and Dragon Quest VIII but I dont want to lose out on what these games have to offer, gameplay wise just cos of my age.

The game has an uplifting vibe running through it, from the music to the colors and the voices and interesting characters, the basic plot is that a castle was destroyed and the king and princess cursed by an evil sorcceress , okay, its not original but what rpg is nowadays, they have probably run out of things to base an rpg on.

The game runs through smoothly but you will have to level up to about level 10 at first to get a smooth run through the story and make some of those vital spells available to you early on, the story is young at heart but can be enjoyed as it retains a light hearted feel throughout.

Gameplay wise, this game has alot to offer, the battle system is interesting but sometimes I just put it on auto and sat back (which got a little tedious)
and watched my powerful characters unleash havoc. The item creation system is excellent and if you spend time wisely using this you will enhance the gameplay by a long way, the game ran smoothly and I would say its quite addictive.

Sound wise, I thought the music was suited for the game, kinda medieval pop melodies if theres such a thing, it was uplifting and chirpy, like birds singing or some s*#t like that!

Overall this game will be hit and miss as it wont provide a hardcore rpg gamer with enough hard action and pulsating storyline to get the juices going, that said it was a hit with me but will only get a good rating, not an excellent one.
