Long game, full of content and various features.
Dragon Raja is perhaps somewhat similar to Diablo and Ultima Online. I have to say though, it has really entertaining features that will give you something to do for a long time. Despite of the grind, battling is really fun, even in PvE. Of course that like any other game, the hack and slash gets a bit repetitive after a while.
PvP is simply amazing. This game, unlike most MMORPGs out there requires you to have ability and real experience with it to actually defeat your enemies. You can dodge skills and spells with a mouse click if you are quick enough to do it, and if you can't aim well with your mouse cursor, you won't get to hit your opponents. Also, PvP is really fun, and you can do it anywhere, but there is a penalty for doing it in towns.
You can also PvP in the National War. In the game, you can choose between three nations for your character, and then, everyday, there is a big conflict between the three of them. By fighting in the war and helping your comrades to fight, you have a chance of earning fame, which is required for you to equip new forms of armor/weapons/rides.
There is also a well-designed crafting system, in which you are able to make weapons that are way stronger than the ones sold by NPCs. You can also upgrade items and add special statuses to them, such as freezing attacks, increasing defense, and others.
There are several areas to explore and a good background history which is unfortunately often overlooked by its players. As the game is based on a Korean fantasy novel, it keeps the main storyline of the book, and its main areas and cities, as well as enemies.
One problem with PvP that I've noticed though is about balancing issues. It's not exactly the most balanced ever. There are spells that are considered "immoral" to be used in PvP overall, because they are explicitly overpowered and unbalanced. Wizards can always use a spell called "Stun" that paralyzes their enemies for several seconds, which gives them enough time to prepare a spell to kill them. Also, "Falling Disease" makes their enemies hungry, slowing down their movement speed severely and making them unable to attack. Even if they use a food item, the wizard can simply cast this spell as long as he wants to, so it's pretty pointless to fight against it. The only way to counter these spells is by being a Priest. Priests can use a spell (only on themselves) that reflect bad statuses against the one who attempted to inflict them, being them able to fight against wizards in lower levels.
After Dual Class, wizards lose a bit of their hegemony in PvP and priests take some space. In the highest levels, Priests are simply unstoppable if compared to other classes. They have a spell called "Life Drain" which will simply drain an enemy's HP to restore his own, leaving enemies with 1 HP. Priests usually get Warrior as a dual class, which gives them Vit (necessary for Life Drain to work properly) and more HP. They have spells that simply can block almost every sort of damage against them and they have other attack spells that are quite powerful, which gives them High HP and High DPS in high levels. I have to say, they need to be nerfed.
Other issues regarding this game is that as it is really old, it wasn't well designed against cheats and hacks. As most of the important actions are client-sided, it is extremely easy to hack, and it is a cheaters' paradise, unfortunately.
Despite of its problems, Dragon Raja is a good game that is worth a try. I do think that it need to be updated a bit to today's standards, and I'm not talking about its graphics, but about the extreme grinding and the lack of balance. Also, it needs updates in its contents as well, such as new skills, monsters and areas.
