Probably my favorite game this gen.

There is no other game in the world like Dragons Dogma. One cannot truly understand the awesomeness of this game until you have spent a good amount of time fighting monsters, exploring dungeons and trading pawns in this game. This is closest I have come in a video game to duplicating that feeling I had while playing D&D as a kid. I love this game. I don't play turn based rpg's or MMO's. I like action games with real fighting. Dragon's Dogma has real fighting and real dungeon crawling with a four man (one player plus three pawns)party. If this game had four player co-op and harder high level enemies it would be a perfect 10. Right now its a solid 9 in my book.
The one thing that really stands out in Dragons Dogma is the pawn system. It truly is revolutionary. Every player gets to create one custom made permanent pawn as your sidekick in addition to borrowing up to three pawns that have been custom made by other players online. (the game will simulate this for you if you are not online) Nearly everything about your character and your pawn can be customized and the feeling of having your custom made pawn widely used and highly rated by other players is extremely rewarding. Capcom has created the next great gaming franchise with Dragons Dogma.
