The dark side of Enix. Blood will be flowing
The story involves a young fighter, a brother to the new said god. The boy later has to share is heart with one of a dragon, but in exchenge looses is voice and find himself coverd by shadows.
You batlle in the air on a dragon and on land against armies literaly armies of soldiers.
Graphic- For its time period the graphic are simply gorgeous the details and the shadowing of the in-game is simply awsome. the air battles are really well detailed, And the Cutscene are comparaples to the cutsenes from the latest Final Fantasy.
Sound- The voice overs a really down side to the game but the music and the ambience is still really well presented
Gameplay- comparable to samourai warrior you are most of time trown into battle against hordes of foes not all human themself. The typical Hack and Slash is still well balanced and the menu to change weapon is simple and easy to use. your caracter earns experience to level up and earn new powers. the air battle however are pretty hard to get around most of the enemys always have the advantage over you and the control are not easy to get around plus the camera in the air battles is quite blocky and wont respond most of the time.
In conclusion i think Drakenguard is a sure buy for anyone who enjoys a good hack and slash or anyone who like dark games. You can rent this game if you are still not sure.
