Dreamfall is not about fast twitch reflexes. It’s not tactics or strategy. It’s not about competition or high scores. And yet, it’s still incredibly fun. Dreamfall is a great example of interactive storytelling. It’s a lost art in video games these days. Dreamfall weaves a great tale. Not only that, but it also gives life and feeling to each and every character you interact with. Even though it’s a fantasy setting the people react as we would expect real people to. We can empathize with them. That makes the game all the more engrossing.
Some may pass it off as just another adventure game. You’ll be sorry. Try this game. You won’t regret it. However, if you are the type to play a game just to see the biggest BOOM, you may want to skip this one. It’s more akin to reading a good book than seeing an action movie. And it’s a real page turner.
