Fun for kids however frustrating at times.
Controls 7-10 ( Controls were simple however confusing at times.)
Game play 5-10 ( The game play had many glitches and invisible clips so you couldn't walk past a part which was clearly open.)
Sound 5-10 ( They seriously could have spent more time on the sound it mainly had 5 sayings each and it repeats the whole game.)
Easiness for kids 7-10 ( The game is pretty easy however some puzzles in this game could confuse kids which would make them not proceed.
Buy or Rent? I personally would rent this for 3-5 days you should be able to beat it with no problems and if your hunting achievements 1K 3-5 days should be plenty it personally took me 3 days playing at about 4 hours a day..
Don't get me wrong this is a good game and your kids will be busy for a few days however I don't feel that the game is worth 49 dollars.
All and all it's a good sequel from the past shrek game and it's definitely improved if you compare it to the last shrek game.
Buying is not a bad option for this game if you can get it on sale.
