I love finding great GBA games that I can pass and still want to play after that. This is one of those games. The graphics are as good as it gets on the GBA. Nothing to wow about but they work for the game. The sound is also top of the line GBA. Music played during levels and boss fights fit the situations. Controls for the game are great too. You use the L and R to drill and A and B to jump and do other things like open doors. You can purchase upgrades to your drill dozer, which allow you to open up new sections of levels. You can also purchase 6 additional levels, in which you must collect additional treasures. This game will keep you coming back because of its extras.
Some of the levels require practice to complete because you have to press the correct direction, and gear level, to complete. I saw myself getting frustrated at the difficulty at times, but I like that in games when I just dont pass it my 1st go around.
Fun fun game to play. Give it a try. I know it looks to cutesy, but you will not be disappointed.
